It’s no secret that many people are working extremely hard to make ends meet in today’s fast-paced society. We frequently read about people who appear to move through life with ease, abusing the system and reaping the rewards of other people’s generosity. But it’s crucial to keep in mind that there are hundreds of industrious people who battle every day to survive for every “freeloader.”
Bethany Provencher is one such person whose journey personifies the human soul’s unbreakable spirit. She courageously decided to start again and came to St. Charles, Illinois, with her 11-year-old son after serving as a loving single mother for 18 years in Miami. Even with her stellar 25-year history in customer service, Bethany found it difficult to adjust to her new residence due to budgetary restrictions.
Then, shortly before the new year, Bethany’s job at the IHOP was interrupted by a famous couple. Immediately, Donnie Wahlberg and his spouse, Jenny McCarthy, captured Bethany’s interest. She had been a huge fan of Donnie’s band, New Kids on the Block, for a long time, so she was thrilled to be able to help him. She had no idea how much this experience would change her life.
Let’s work together to promote kindness and inspire people to realize the significant positive influence they can have on other people’s lives. Spread the word about this post on Facebook to honor Donnie Wahlberg’s incredible deed of generosity and to start an endless chain reaction of love. We can change things and make the world a better place if we work together.
