ROYAL TRAGEDY Heartbreak for King Charles. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing. Check the first comment

Sadly, the king’s personal friend Captain Ian Farquhar passed away at the age of 78.

Ian has long been a close friend of Queen Camilla and King Charles. He was the Queen Mother’s rider, which added even more prestige to his already impressive name.

Ian proudly served in the Queen’s Own Hussars and was a well-known hunter and horseman.

This tragedy breaks The King, who is already dealing with his own cancer diagnosis. Just last week, Lord Jacob Rothschild, who was 87 years old, departed from this life.

Prince William dated Ian Farquhar’s daughter Rose Farquhar in 2000 when he was on leave. The young couple loved romantic picnics in the gorgeous Gloucestershire countryside.

Ian spent a good deal of time renting a farmhouse on the King’s Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire.

Stephen Parker Bowles, Queen Camilla’s first husband, revealed to the Daily Mail that Ian had been severely ill.

Andy informed me that early on Wednesday morning, Ian passed away in Highgrove.

He talked kindly of Ian, saying that in his younger years, he was “always a lot of fun, but as wild as a hawk.”

In addition, Andy predicted that Ian would become known as “one of the great Master of Hounds” in history.

For thirty-four years, Ian held the title of Master of the Beaufort Hunt.

The Beaufort Hunt paid tribute to their previous instructor on Instagram.

They said, “We break our hearts to send our love and condolences to the family and friends of our own Captain Ian Farquhar.” After providing us with 34 years of outstanding leadership, he gently passed away this week.

“He was highly respected by many in the hunting community as ‘Captain.’” He was always friendly, accommodating, and ready to provide anyone who asked for it with great, forward-thinking advice.

“Those who had the good fortune to spend time with Ian and learn about his amazing and daring life as a hunter and in the army will always treasure those memories.” Ian possessed a keen sense of humor.
