Gordon Ramsay made his fanbase collectively cringe after posting a video of his recent brutal bike accident injury.
Gordon Ramsay suffered a bike accident while riding in Connecticut last week.
The celebrity chef took to his Instagram to share all the details about his cycling injury, which he showed in the post. “It really shook me,” Ramsay said, noticeably shaking his hand in the video. “Honestly, I’m lucky to be here. Now, from those incredible trauma surgeons, doctors, nurses and the hospital that looked after me this week, they were amazing.”
Gordon Ramsay also stated the importance of cycling safety. “Honestly, you’ve got to wear a helmet. I don’t care how short the journey is. I don’t care [about] the fact that these helmets cost money. But they’re crucial. Even with the kids, a short journey, you’ve gotta wear
Ramsay further pointed out that he didn’t break any bones or suffer any “major injuries” during the accident. However, he did show a massive bruise on his torso. “I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato,” he shared.
Gordon Ramsay then said, “Now, I’m lucky to be standing here. I’m in pain. It’s been a brutal week. And I’m sort of getting through it. But, I cannot tell you the importance of wearing a helmet.”
